How to play scattergories
This game will challenge your creativity. To win, you don’t have to move any pieces across the board or collect cards. Roll a 20-sided dice to find the letter you will be using. ).
Players are given a time limit in which to come up with a word that fits into each of 12 Scattergories categories. Each word a person chooses must be original and unique.
Example: If the first letter of a list’s category is “Animal”, then the answer would be “Dog”. However, words such as “Dachshund” or “Dalmatian” might be more common because others are less likely than you to have those answers!
How to create scattergories lists
Scattergories games usually come with ten pre-made Scattergories list. If you play the game often, however, these lists can become repetitive. You can add some humor to the game by adding your own Scattergories category. This can help you have fun and encourage quick thinking.
